DG FARM — IMAGES AND DECALS — VERSION 0.5.0 — FS25 PC / SINGLE PLAYER

LANGUAGES
The interface automatically follows the language selected in the game.
This version includes English and Brazilian Portuguese. English is used as
the default when a translation for the selected language is unavailable.
This is the English manual. The Portuguese manual is LEIA-ME_PT-BR.txt.

INSTALLATION AND FIRST TEST
1. Remove every previous copy of the mod from:
   Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025\mods
Keep only one DG Farm Decal Studio ZIP installed.
2. Restart FS25 and enable the mod in your savegame.
3. On foot, aim at a vehicle, trailer or implement within 15 meters and press
Ctrl+F8. You may also open the editor from inside a stationary vehicle.
4. The panel displays and locks the selected target. Press F9 to add a decal.
5. Press F11 to cycle through the images available in the catalog.
6. Press F6 to select an adjustment. On foot, use the mouse wheel to change it.
7. Inside a vehicle, use Ctrl + mouse wheel so editing does not conflict with
the normal camera zoom. Hold Shift as well for fine adjustment.
8. Press Ctrl+F8 to close the editor. Save the game normally and reload it
to verify that the decals were stored.

F7: select the next image already applied to the vehicle
F11: change the artwork of the selected image
F6: cycle through adjustments
On foot: mouse wheel changes the value; Shift + wheel makes fine adjustments

Ctrl + Shift + wheel makes fine adjustments
PageUp/PageDown: keyboard alternative

TARGET SELECTION
While on foot, look directly at the body or physical structure of a vehicle,
trailer or implement and press Ctrl+F8. The maximum range is 15 meters.
The selected target name appears in the panel and remains locked while the
editor is open, allowing you to walk around it without changing the target.
When an image is added on foot, it is created near the point under the reticle.
Close and reopen the editor to select a different object.
Entering a vehicle during on-foot editing closes the editor for safety.
Inside a vehicle, the normal vehicle selection made by the game is respected.

ADJUSTMENTS
Side X, height Y, front/back Z, tilt X, rotation Y, rotation Z, size,
physical component and width/height ratio.
Size defines the decal width in meters.
Ratio 1 = square (1:1); 2 = rectangular (2:1); 4 = wide (4:1);
0.5 = vertical (1:2). Height = width / ratio.
F11 applies the ratio configured for the newly selected artwork. You may
change the ratio afterward.

INITIAL POSITION
New images are 60 cm wide and initially appear on the vehicle side.
The mod uses the cab entry point when available; otherwise it estimates the
position from the vehicle dimensions. The initial point varies by model, so
use X, Y and Z to place the decal correctly.
The initial position does not modify decals that were already placed and saved.
Images are flat: keep a few millimeters between the decal and the body surface.
For the opposite side, use a negative X value and set Y rotation to -90 degrees.
Component selects physical parts of articulated vehicles. It does not identify
animated doors and does not automatically conform to curved bodywork.

ADDING YOUR OWN IMAGES — NO LUA EDITING REQUIRED
Open the mod ZIP and place your images in the imagens folder, next to
catalogo.xml. You may extract, edit and compress the mod again, but modDesc.xml
must remain at the root of the ZIP. Remove the extracted folder from the mods
directory afterward so FS25 does not load two copies.

SIMPLE METHOD
Name the files imagem01.png, imagem02.png ... imagem20.png.
The mod searches for these names when loading the savegame. The same numbered
names are also detected as .dds and .jpg. The default ratio is 2:1; select
Width/height ratio with F6 if your image uses a different format.

CUSTOM NAME AND CONFIGURED RATIO
Edit imagens/catalogo.xml and add entries inside <imagens>:
<imagem arquivo="my_logo.png" nome="My farm logo" largura="512" altura="512"/>
<imagem arquivo="my_sign.png" nome="My sign" largura="1024" altura="256"/>
Do not place active entries inside XML comments <!-- -->.
Copy the matching files into the imagens folder. Prefer file names without
accents or special characters. Missing files are ignored. Restart the game
after adding an image.
Catalog entries are loaded first and numbered files are detected afterward.
Saved images are identified by file name, preventing them from changing when
the catalog order is edited.

RECOMMENDED IMAGE RATIOS — WIDTH × HEIGHT IN PIXELS
1:1 — 512 × 512 — square logo
2:1 — 1024 × 512 — rectangular logo or sign
4:1 — 1024 × 256 — wide sign
1:2 — 512 × 1024 — vertical image
Use transparent PNG for cut-out artwork and JPG for solid backgrounds.
DDS is also supported. Custom PNG/JPG files use the game's texture loader and
must be visually tested. If an image fails, check log.txt and try a DDS texture
exported for FS25. The mod does not include an image converter.

SAVING AND COMPATIBILITY
Older decals keep the legacy 2:1 ratio when no ratio was stored.
The mod saves decal data with each vehicle in vehicles.xml and also keeps
dgFarmDecals.xml as a compatibility copy.
Leaving the game without saving discards recent changes.
No source file from a vehicle mod is modified.
The mod does not add physical signs, thickness, supports or collision.
Console and multiplayer are not supported. Fixed shortcuts may conflict with
other script mods.

BUILT-IN SAMPLE CATALOG
The package includes fictional farm logos, Raízen identification, safety
signs, Diesel S10, road-style signage, the Brazilian flag and a reflective
stripe. These are examples for in-game use. Players may replace or extend them
with their own images. Safety artwork is not certified for real-world use.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the mod does not work, send a screenshot, the vehicle model and this file:
Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025\log.txt
Messages from the mod begin with [DGFarmDecalStudio].
